Massage will keep the older/ arthritic pet more comfortable by breaking up the muscle adhesions that can form due to lack of movement. These adhesions can make toxins build up in the muscle and body, by breaking up these adhesions, increase in blood flow will assist the body in releasing these toxins.
Massage also releases " feel good " endorphins, which are the body’s natural pain relievers. These endorphins promote relaxation. Stress and tension can be linked to depression, irritability and pain. Humans receive massages to release tension, stress and pain. Afterwards, they feel happier, less tense and " lighter ". When pets are stressed, they can pick up unwanted behaviors such as separation anxiety, chewing and lethargy to name a few. The massage can also be enhanced with the use of essential oils and flower essence therapy.
FLOWER ESSENCE THERAPY Flower Essence Therapy works with the body to help heal itself. Flower essence are derived from flowers, water and the sun. These flowers work strictly on an emotional level. Abused/rescued animals can learn to trust again, putting the past behind them. Excitable animals become more controlled and frightened animals become more relaxed.

The cost for this service is $70.00 per session. The massage is approximately 45 minutes in length. This allows enough time for the entire body to be worked
